2. Tadasana
  • Tadasana is derived from the Sanskrit words tada (meaning “mountain”) and asana (meaning “pose”).
  • It is a pose of stillness and awareness and serves as a reminder to connect with your inner strength and stability.
  • It is a basic standing pose that promotes balance, core strength, and realistic.

Steps

  • Stand with your feet slightly apart.
  • Keep your feet balanced.
  • Inhale and raise your arms above your head.
  • Interlock your fingers with your palms facing up.
  • Exhale and raise your heals. Keep the arms above the head towards the sky.
  • Maintain this posture for 15 seconds, with a steady and natural breathing rhythm.
  • While exhaling, relax all your muscles and return to the starting position.
