7. Bhastrika
- The word for “bellows” in Sanskrit was utilized to give the name because the abdomen pushes the breath like a blacksmith’s bellows.
Steps
- 1. Sit in vajrasana or sukhasana posture (keeping your spine erect).
- 2. Make fists, fold your arms and place in front of your shoulders.
- 3. While raising your hands straight up inhale deeply and open fists.
- 4. Apply a little force on exhalation, bring arms down in front of your shoulders and close fists.
- 5. Repeat two more rounds.
