How to Measure Blood Pressure?
Instrument used to measure blood pressure is called Digital BP Machine (Sphygmomanometers)
Instructions to follow while measuring blood pressure:
- The participant has avoided smoking and alcoholic/caffeinated drinks before measuring their BP.
- Make sure the participant’s bladder is empty
- Do not measure BP if they are distressed or in pain
- Ensure you rest for at least 5 mins before taking the measurement
